Founded since 2010, Bio Tree is more than a just a biotechnology company focusing on natural bio-fermentation. It’s a story of misfortune, love and hope. Founder Yee Yeaw Khim was inspired to start Bio Tree Biotechnology Sdn Bhd after his wife lost a battle against lung cancer in 2009 after 4 years and 9 months. During the journey battling cancer with his wife, Khim unraveled the connection of food and health.
And so he began with a firm commitment to create deliciously wholesome cultured beverage and condiments that you can trust. Natural, free from preservatives and additives, and sustainability are some of the assurances he holds dear. He wants us to read the labels on our bottles and feel that we can enjoy it, and let our children enjoy it, every day for its wholesome goodness.
Starting from ground zero, Khim and his team went against all odds to become the first in the country to develop bio-fermentation beverage and condiments from farm to bottle – from harvesting of fruits, to culturing microbes, to fermentation of produce, to filling and packaging the products. Everything Bio Tree offer is based on the beliefs that a nutritious and healthy product MUST come from the heart and be FREE from preservatives, additives and colouring. Underlining these beliefs are the fact that Bio Tree is certified GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000:2005, MesTi and HALAL.
Today, Bio Tree products range from NATURAL FERMENTATION Vinegars, SOD Enzymes, botanical beverages to ready-to-drinks (RTD) – all with biofermentation elements.
